Pitch Perfect 2 is about a collegiate a cappella group who after gaining notoriety, suffers an embarrassing mishap during the President’s birthday and then… I’m not really sure. I didn’t get that far.

PG-13 | 1h 55 mins | Comedy, Music | May 15, 2015
Did I Like It?
My overall feeling towards the show.
Pitch Perfect 2 is not for me. I was eventually able to get through Pitch Perfect after my mom’s constant efforts to get me to watch it with her. I didn’t even get through the first five minutes before walking away, but I’ll get to that in a minute.
Napability?
How easily could I sleep through this.
If given the choice between watching this movie and taking a nap, I’d move to a different room and proceed with a nap.
What’s It Worth?
How much effort/money would I put towards this show.
Overall, I would put more effort into not watching this movie, than actually try to watch it. The only reason I ever came in contact with this movie was because my mom had turned it on as filler until we all could decide on something else to watch.
How Often Would I Watch It?
The frequency that I would watch this.
I’ll be avoiding this one, so I can’t really say I would watch it very often at all.
Any “I’m Out!” Moments?
Moments where I mentally or physically check out of the show.
As I said earlier, I didn’t make it through the first five minutes of this show before I called “I’m out”. Let’s just say that a little more than a split pair of pants was more blunt than I felt it needed to be. It just became more uncomfortable than anything else, but that wasn’t what threw me over the edge.
They dropped an Obama cameo right off the bat.
Who just throws in an appearance of the President and the First Lady in the opening of a show? I guess they wanted to come in, guns blazing. It just seemed like overkill to me, but what made it worse was that they actually had a shot of the back of their heads. The back of the President’s head! Why even bother including that? As soon as I saw it, I knew I was not destined to finish this movie.
